Giving Back at Palomar Health

Employees Break Records With More Than 72% Giving Participation

While effective healthcare is, in great part, a matter of dollars and cents, it’s also a matter of collective, local compassion. That is why residents, private donors, physicians and employees are being asked to contribute to the capital campaign for Palomar Health.

Our desire is to enhance the quality of care now and for future generations. When you, as an employee, give to the capital campaign, you show how much you care. Imagine the incredible message Palomar Health employees can send to others: We support our healing mission - a mission each employee believes in and is helping to build.

There are many ways you can give:

Cash Gifts

• Payable by check or credit card or completed by pledge periods of 1, 3 or 5 years
• Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover accepted

Payroll Deduction

• No minimum contribution amount
• One-time giving accepted
• Specify an amount per pay period for 1, 3 or 5 years
• Easily accessible through Lawson (Access via Palomar Health Intranet).

PTO Deduction

• Lump sum gift of hours (one-time) or
• Specified number of hours each year, as you direct
• Easily accessible through Lawson

Charitable Gift Annuity Program

• Receive guaranteed, fixed payments for the rest of your life, based on your age, or
• Defer the date when annuity payments begin and receive a larger guaranteed pay out for the rest of your life.

Other Gifts

• You can also contribute stocks, land, residential or commercial property.
• Estate commitments, such as bequests made in your will or living trust, are recognized at the full face value and can be recognized in the new hospital.

All cumulative gifts of $5,000 or more will be recognized permanently on the donor wall at the new Palomar Medical Center. It's easy to do! Create a lasting legacy for you and your entire family by giving just $39 per pay period for five years.
